Felix Yen ( German: Felix Jähn ; born August 24, 1994 ), also known as Felix Jaehn, is a German DJ and producer [1] specializing in tropical house music [2] . Felix was born in Hamburg , and grew up in Schoenberg . He began to learn to play the violin at the age of five, and 16 began his DJ career. Felix lived in London for a year, where at the age of 17 he attended Point Blank College of Music [3] . He also briefly studied administration at Humboldt University in Berlin [4] .

Career
In August 2013, he released his first debut single, "Somme an Meer" [5] . He won first place in 2015 thanks to his remix of Jamaica singer OMI " Cheerleader ". The single became an international hit for leading the charts in Germany , Austria , Belgium , Canada , Mexico , Denmark , France , India , the Netherlands , Slovakia , Sweden , Switzerland , the UK and the USA . The song became extremely popular in the United States. [6] In November 2014, he released a single titled "Shine" [7] . In March 2015, Felix released his second single "Dance with Me" [8] . In April 2015, he released a classic remix of the song by the group Rufus and singer Chaka Chan “Ain't Nobody”, which was renamed by Felix to “Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better)”, featuring the vocal of the singer Jasmin Tomposon . The remix became a European hit and led the German Singles Chart. Felix has signed a contract with the record label Universal Music Group [9] . In July 2015, he released the single "Eagle Eyes" [10] . In 2017, he collaborated with Mike Williams, they jointly released the single “Feel Good” on Spinnin 'Records [11] . In 2015, Felix launched the project “Effect” together with German singer Mark Forest (real name Mark Quirtney), as vocalist, and Felix DJ, producer. They met in Vienna in 2015. Their debut single "Stimme" led the German Singles Chart for three weeks, as well as the charts of Austria and Switzerland.
