ToxicityIt contains aristolochic acid, as well as other plants of the Kirkazonov family. Aristolochic acid is a powerful carcinogen with a delayed (up to 10 years) duration. The use of herbal remedies based on products of the Kirkazonov family, including European ungulates, significantly increases the risk of developing liver or kidney cancer. [3]
