Football League Cup 2007/08 - The 48th draw of the tournament, entitled “ Football League Cup ”. The tournament was also known as the Carling Cup , in honor of the main sponsor of the tournament, the Canadian brewing company Carling . The competition is held according to the “playoffs” system among the 92 best clubs in England.

The winner of the tournament was London Tottenham Hotspur, having defeated one of his principal rivals Chelsea in the finals at Wembley , thanks to Jonathan Woodgate's goal in overtime .
