Oleg Nikolayevich Sokolovsky (born August 22, 1961, Alexandria ) is a Ukrainian coach, Honored Trainer of Ukraine , a judge of the national category in athletics, vice president of the Athletics Federation of Ukraine.

Biography
Born on August 22, 1961 in the city of Alexandria . He studied at the Kirovograd State Pedagogical Institute. A.S. Pushkin in 1981-1985. In 1985–2000 - coach of the Znamenskaya Sports School.
From childhood, I was independently engaged in sprinting. Personal record: 100 meters in 10.9 s.
In 1996-2004 he was the head coach of the team of the Kirovograd region in athletics. Since 2002 - senior coach of the Ukrainian Paralympic team in athletics throwing. In 2004-2012, he held the position of director of the special children and youth school of the Olympic reserve "Nadezhda".
One of the founders of the Athletics Federation of Ukraine, since 2004 - its vice president.
Among his students there are two Paralympic champions: Boy Alla is an honored master of sports , a bronze Paralympic medalist in the shot put ( Athens , Summer Paralympic Games 2004 ), a champion in shot put and a bronze medalist in a shot put ( Beijing , Summer Paralympic Games 2008 ), champion and world and European record putter; Misnik Anastasia - Honored Master of Sports, silver Paralympic medalist in shot put ( London , Summer Paralympic Games 2012 ), medalist in World and European Championships [1] .
For his work, Oleg Sokolovsky was awarded an honorary diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2004) [2] and the medal “For Labor and Valor” (2012) [3] .
