Wound toilet

Wound toilet is an indispensable element of treating a wound surface, the purpose of which is to cleanse the wound from gross impurities, remove fragments of necrotic formations, disinfect the skin around the wound, rinse the wound cavity ( wound canal ) with antiseptic solutions [1] , topical administration of antibiotics, drainage the wound canal with a PVC pipe , application of an aseptic dressing and, in case of injury to nerve trunks, transport immobilization [2] .

The toilet burns does not differ from the toilet mechanical damage [1] . If the injury is a gunshot wound, which is localized only in the soft tissues, then all its treatment is limited to the toilet [2] .
