Staraya Guta is a village, the administrative center of the Starogutnyansky rural settlement of the Unechsky district of the Bryansk region .

Content
History
Mentioned from the middle of the 16th century as the possession of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, as part of the Lyshchytsky volost (in the territory of the Novomestsky hundreds of the Starodub regiment). The original name - Cherneca Guta (Chernetskaya Guta), did not have a Cossack population. The Church of St. Nicholas from 1802 (wooden, operated until 1944, not preserved). From 1782 to 1921 in Surazh uyezd (from 1861 - as part of the Golubov volost), from 1921 in Klintsov uyezd (Golubovskaya, from 1924 Klintsov volost), from 1929 in the Unechsky district. At the end of the 19th century, a literacy school worked. Two village of the same name also exists on the territory of Ukraine, 8 km west of the village of Novaya Pogoshch, Suzemsky District, until 1781 it was part of the Novgorod Hundred Starodubsky Regiment.

Transport
The village is a small railway junction called "SANDSTONES", also at the junction there is a railway station called Sandstones. The station operates by taking commuter trains that go along the route Bryansk-Novozybkov and Novozybkov-Bryansk. Frequency of trains at the station: 1 train every 3 hours. The Unecha-Robchik bus route passes through the village. About 15% of all roads are paved in the village. The village has no internal bus routes.
