Career
Native of Nizhny Tagil . From the age of 14, he trained with the Honored Coach of Russia Nikolai Pyatnitsky . After his death in 2009, he began to train with Mikhail Khomyakov until 2014. In the team from 2015—2016. trained with Alan Naniev. From 2016 to the present, he has been training again under the leadership of Mikhail Khomyakov.
In 2009, he became the champion of Russia among young men in the category of up to 77 kg. In the same year he became the winner of the World Championship among youth in Thailand and the European Championship among youth in Israel.
At the Russian Championship among juniors in 2010, he became the second in the category up to 85 kg. At the European Championship 2010 among juniors in Cyprus becomes the champion.
In 2012, he won the Russian Junior Championship in the category of up to 94 kg.
In 2013, he became the vice-champion of Russia in the category of up to 94 kg.
He participated in the European Championships 2016 and 2017.
Won in the category up to 94 kg at the 2017 Universiade .
At the European Championships in 2019 in Batumi, Yegor won a silver medal, fixing the total weight for the sum of two exercises 378 kg. He also took a small silver medal, at a point lifting a barbell weighing 210 kg.
