Biography
Born in 1954. He competed in cross-country skiing competitions of various sizes for the DSO "Labor Reserves". He was a member of the Leningrad national team in 1973-1979. He was a repeated champion and prize-winner of the championships of Leningrad and the championships of the sports society " Labor Reserves ". In 1976 he fulfilled the standard of the Master of Sports of the USSR. He trained with the famous coach Vadim Pavlovich Anuchin [1] .
In 1978 he graduated from the Institute of Physical Education. Lesgaft . For several decades he was engaged in coaching. In the years 1974-1980. - Senior Trainer DSO "Labor Reserves". In 1980-1989 - coach, senior coach of the Leningrad School of Higher Sports Excellence. In 1989-1996 - Trainer of the national team of Leningrad (St. Petersburg) in cross-country skiing [1] .
In 1994, Viktor Viktorovich was awarded the title of Honored Coach of Russia for his successes in the coaching field. Under his leadership, multiple Olympic and world skiing champion N. Gavrylyuk [2] , Russian champions A. Vorobyov, V. Plotnikova and other outstanding athletes [3] underwent sports training.
He died in 2004, was buried in the Vladimir region [1] .
