Xyela occidentalis (lat.) Is a species of Hymenoptera insects of the genus Xyela from the family of sawflies Xyelidae .

China (Jilin), South Korea [1] .
Description
Small sawflies, length about 4 mm. ; the length of the front wings of females is 3.3–3.7 mm. The head is brownish-black. False caterpillars feed on densely flowered pine ( Pinus densiflora ) [1] [2] .
