Alexander Sergeevich Chernoivanov (born November 7, 1951 , Usatovo ) is a Russian boxing coach. Senior coach of the national teams of the Volgograd region and the Russian Federation, personal trainer of a number of titled Russian boxers, such as Igor Kshinin , Alexei Stepanov , Oleg Komissarov , Evgeny Romanov , Sergey Lopatinsky and others. Since January 1, 2018, he has been the head coach of the Russian women's boxing team, approved by order of the Ministry of Sports on March 30, 2018 [1] .
Biography
Alexander Chernoivanov was born on November 7, 1951 in the village of Usatovo, Krasnokutsky District, Saratov Region . Subsequently, he moved permanently to the city of Volgograd , where in 1973 he graduated from the Volgograd State Institute of Physical Culture (department of theory and methodology of boxing and weightlifting) [2] .
He taught classes in the boxing section at the Volgograd Vocational School No. 8. Since 1999, he has been working as a head coach in the Russian boxing team for more than ten years. Senior coach of the Volgograd region boxing team [3] . Head coach and long-term member of the coaching council of the Boxing Federation of the Southern Federal District [4] .
Over the years of coaching, he trained many talented athletes who have achieved success in the international arena. One of his most famous students is Igor Kshinin , honored master of sports, European champion, bronze medalist of the Goodwill Games, four-time champion of Russia, winner of the Russian Cup, participant in the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta [5] . His other pupil is Alexei Stepanov , world-class master of sports, silver medalist at the World Cup, silver medalist at the Goodwill Games, winner of the Russian Cup [6] . Under the leadership of Chernoivanov, the master of sports of international class Oleg Komissarov , the silver medalist of the European Championship, the winner of the World Cup, trained. His ward was the champion of Russia, master of sports of international class Evgeny Romanov [7] .
For outstanding achievements in the coaching field in 1993, Alexander Chernoivanov was awarded the honorary title “ Honored Coach of Russia ” [8] .
