Echo is Gracious's third and final studio album, released in 1996. It was released 24 years after the release of the previous record This Is ... Gracious !! . The only original members on the album are bassist Tim Wheatley and drummer Robert Lipson.

About the album
After the collapse of Gracious in 1971, the band members parted ways. Guitarist Alan Cowderoy and keyboardist Martin Kitcat began working at record companies. Drummer Robert Lipson went into the family business. Vocalist Paul Davis and bassist Tim Wheatley played in little-known bands. Finally, in the 90s, according to Couderoi, they received an offer from a Japanese record company that wanted the musicians to record an album that sounded as if it had been recorded in the 70s [1] .
In 1995, Wheatley and Lipson, members of the original composition, teamed up with multi-instrumentalist Sev Levkovich and a year later released the record. Alan Cowderoy also took part in the recording, playing the guitar in the first track.
