Member of the CPSU (b).
Member of the Great Patriotic War, engineer-captain.
Since 1945 - in public and political work. In 1945 - 1966 - Director of the Central Scientific Research Institute of Communications, director of the State Research Institute for Radio Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Radiation, Minister of Communications of the RSFSR, head of the Main Directorate of the USSR Ministry of Radio Industry.
He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of the 4th, 5th, 6th convocations.
