Biography
Born on January 18, 1922 in Yeysk ( Krasnodar Territory ). By nationality - Russian . He graduated from a rural school and machine operator courses. Since May 1938 he worked as a machine operator on the collective farm named after Lenin [1] .
In the Red Army since May 1941. He participated in the Great Patriotic War from January 1942. He served in the 9th Guards Mechanized Corps , as a tank driver [1] .
Demobilized in August 1945 with the rank of foreman . After demobilization, he returned to his homeland, where he worked on the same collective farm as a combine operator, then switched to work at the Primorsko-Akhtarsky machine and tractor station (MTS), which served this collective farm. During the harvesting of 1952, Anatoly Manifet threshed 8094 centners of grain in a Stalinets-6 combine harvester in 25 working days [1] .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 25, 1953, Anatoly Ivanovich Manifet was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal [1] for achieving high performance in harvesting and threshing grain crops.
In the future, Anatoly Manifet showed record threshed grain crops: in 1957, he threshed 6098 centners of grain crops from 219 hectares . Retired since 1982 [1] .
