Biography

In 1980 he made his debut as part of the Vinnitsa “ Niva ” in the Second League of the USSR . He spent the next season in Simferopol Tavria . For Crimeans, he played only one game of the USSR Cup against the Barnaul Dynamo (2-0) [1] . After that he returned to Niva. At first, he conceded a goal to Anatoly Babenko , but then became the main goalkeeper. In 1983, the team became the third in its zone . A year later, Niva won the zonal tournament , after which it took second place in the final round , losing to Kuibyshev's Wings of the Soviets . The team finished the 1985 season in second place in its group, losing only to Tavria. He took part in the first championship of the independent Ukraine . “Niva” took 8th place out of 10 teams of its group and flew to the First League. He spent the first half of the 1992/93 season on the team, after which he completed his career as a football player.

As part of the Niva, he spent more than three hundred games, is the club's record holder as the goalkeeper who spent the most matches. Zagoruyko played the most “dry” games for “Niva” - 131 matches [2] . Included in the symbolic clubs of Anatoly Alexandrov and Yuri Shevchenko [3] .

At the end of his career as a football player, he began working as a children's coach at the Niva school in Vinnitsa. He worked in tandem with Alexander Dusanyuk. He was awarded the prize as the best coach of the Vinnitsa region. Among his pupils are football players such as Alexander Kostyuk and Vadim Voloshinsky (born in 1992). Wards born in 1997 won the tournament in France in the spring of 2010 [4] . Pupils of 1997 year of birth are Victor Tsygankov and Oleg Ostapenko [5] [6] . After he was a coach of a group of soccer players born in 2002-2004. He led a team of this age to the silver awards of the Obolon 2011 international tournament in Kiev [7] . In the 1999/00 season, he was the goalkeeper coach at the Vinnitsa club; he held the same position in the Niva-V team in the first half of the 2016/17 season [9] [10] .
