Biography
Pre-war time
Born on August 26, 1903 in the city of Peterhof . He lost his parents early, and in the war of 1914, 2 brothers were killed. Until 1916 he graduated from the seven-year school curriculum. During these years, he and his peers visited the Komsomol committee, and later joined their ranks. Since 1930 he becomes a member of the party. Later he finished the Oryol machine gunner courses and joined the 1st Latvian Rifle Corps. In its composition took part in the fight against Denikin and the White Guards. He caught saboteurs, speculators, destroyed various gangs, undermining the young Soviet power.
He graduated from the three-year Western military infantry school named after Myasnikov, which was located in the city of Smolensk .
He took part in many military operations under the command of K. E. Voroshilov and A. M. Tukhachevsky.
From 1919 to 1930, he held various positions in military units.
From 1931 to 1941, he served as the mobilization unit of the Chechersky, Dubrovsky, Polotsky, Gomel military commissariats.
In 1940 - 1941 he became a military commissar of the Zhlobin RVC .
World War II
He met the beginning of World War II with the rank of major, regiment commander 666, of the 153rd Infantry Division of the Leningrad Front .
During the war years received 4 severe shell shock and 3 injuries. During his treatment, he completed an accelerated training course at the Fronz Military Academy in Tashkent.
After treatment, he fought on the 2nd Belorussian and 2nd Baltic fronts . He commanded the 24th separate ski brigade of the 68th Army of the Northwest Front . He was deputy commander of the 7th Guards Rifle Division of the 2nd Baltic Front. In 1943 he became a division commander of the 119th Guards Rifle Division of the 10th Guards Army of the 2nd Baltic Front.
In 1947, with the rank of colonel, he resigned due to injuries.
Post-war time
He was the director of the Roslavl city industrial complex, the director of the sumy plant, the party secretary of the party organization of the meat factory in the city of Roslavl .
In 1976 he underwent a heavy operation to amputate his left leg.
At the end of 1976, for family reasons, he was brought to Ishimbay to his daughter.
On February 18, 1978, he died of gangrene of his right leg. He was buried in the city of Ishimbay with military honors.
