Physico-geographical characteristics

The village is located in the steppe, within the northern periphery of the Caspian lowland , belonging to the East European Plain , on the right bank of the Bolshoi Uzen River , at an altitude of about 20 meters above sea level [3] . Soils - solonetzes are meadow (semi-hydromorphic) [4] .

By road, the distance to the regional center of the village of Aleksandrov Gai is 18 km, to the regional center of the city of Saratov - 280 km [5] .

Climate

The climate is temperate continental (according to the Köppen-Dfa climate classification). The long-term rainfall is 299 mm. The greatest amount of precipitation falls in July - 31 mm, the least in March - 20 mm. The average annual temperature is positive and amounts to + 6.4 ° С, the average temperature of the coldest month of February is −11.5 ° С, the hottest month of July +23.4 ° С [6] .

History

It was founded in 1930 as a stud farm number 95 [7] . Subsequently, the village of the central estate of the farm Novouzensky. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of October 19, 1984, the village was given the name Priuzensky [8] .

After the municipal reform, the village was the center of the rural settlement of Priuzensky municipal formation . By the law of the Saratov region dated February 24, 2016 No. 21-ЗСО [9] , the Priuzensky municipal formation was abolished, included in the Aleksandrovo-Gaysky municipal formation.
