Seleucus V Filometor ( dr. Greek Σέλευκος Φ Φιλομήτωρ ; d. 125 BC ) - the king of Syria from the Seleucid dynasty (from 126 BC ). The eldest son of Demetrius II Nikator and Cleopatra Thei .

The nickname "Philometor" translates as "loving his mother" and in Hellenistic Greece often meant that the mother acted as regent under the prince. Cleopatra Thea killed Seleucus when he tried to claim the throne.
