Gameplay (from the English - “gameplay”) - Ukrainian glossy monthly magazine about computer and video games , was published by the Ukrainian publishing house ITC Publishing from August-September 2005 to June 2010. As of September 2009, the circulation was 20,000 copies. The magazine used materials from the British magazine games ™ [en] [2] . The magazine contained information about games that had not yet been released, market updates , and people developing game products. On May 19, 2010, the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Anna Zinchenko, made an official announcement about closing the magazine from the pages of her blog on gameplay.itc.ua [3] . The June issue, she said, was the last.

Despite the closure of the magazine, its official website was active until July 2014, and former authors still posted gaming news and links to reviews on the ITC.ua website on its blog. June 30, 2014 the site officially ceased to work.

Sections
The heading for Gameplay magazine included the following main sections:
- News - news about games under development and events of both the world and Ukrainian gaming industry.
- Preview - detailed information received directly from the developers about the upcoming games, the appearance of which is expected soon.
- Interview and topic of the issue - well-known representatives of the industry talked about how games are made and what to expect in the future. Also in this section were published historical and analytical materials.
- Reviews - reviews written by the authors of the magazine after a detailed review of the full version of the game.
- Internet - modifications , fresh files, patches , additions , etc. Interesting web resources about games, as well as flash and browser games.
- Miscellaneous - irregular headings, including articles on new technologies, specific problems of the gaming industry, essays, etc. Headings of the headings are working, it is possible to change them in the process of preparing the first issues of the journal.
Kit
Most of the circulation was completed with a DVD-ROM with a set of demos, patches, mods, add-ons, drivers, videos and useful free programs.
Since January 2009, the publication was redesigned.
Target Audience
Gameplay was aimed at the general public interested in computers and video games . The bulk of our readers were:
- Enthusiasts ( born hardcore gamers ) are people who are fond of games, have powerful gaming systems at home (both PCs and consoles), regularly read topical news and purchase at least 5-6 game products per month.
- People who play from time to time ( English casual gamers ) are those for whom games are one of the hobbies , who buy 2-3 products a month and want to know exactly what it is worth spending your money on.
The target audience of Gameplay magazine was characterized by the following parameters:
- gender - male (75-80% of readers);
- age - 14-30 years;
- education - higher, incomplete higher, secondary, incomplete secondary;
- financial status - secured, medium and above average income;
- accommodation - Kiev and the region (40–45%), large cities of Ukraine (35–40%);
- occupation - pupils, students, employees;
- The motivation for buying / reading a magazine is a constant interest in new products (40-50%), a desire to purchase a game in the near future (50-60%).
