Biography
Born in the Voronezh province (now Voronezh region ) in 1920. By nationality - Russian [1] .
From 1939 to 1946 he served in the Red Army , participated in the Great Patriotic War [1] .
He was discharged from the Red Army in 1946 and moved to Riga ( Latvian SSR , now Latvia ). From 1946 to 1951 he worked as a driver in the Riga supply office "Kultsnab". Received secondary special education. Since 1950, a member of the CPSU (b) . From 1951 to 1979, he was a chauffeur of the Riga Production Bus Association, and from 1979-1985, he was chairman of the Mentors Council [2] . For success in work he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor [1] .
On May 4, 1971, Pyotr Nikolayevich Donkaryov was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle Medal [1] - for achieving outstanding performance in the operation of vehicles: his ZIS-155 bus covered more than 1 million km without major repairs .
From 1967 to 1985 he was a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Latvian SSR (from the 7th to the 10th convocation). From 1976 to 1981 - member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Latvia. Laureate of the State Prize of the Latvian SSR (1976).
He lived in Riga. Date of death unknown [1] .
