Yevgeniy Isayevich Klebanov (born February 9, 1954 in Moscow ) - Soviet and Russian rugby player, USSR Master of Sports [1] , Honored Coach of Russia in rugby , five - time champion of Moscow , silver medalist of the USSR Championship [2] ( 1980 ). Repeatedly prepared the Russian national rugby team for the matches of the European Championship [3] and many other international tournaments. He trained more than a hundred sports masters of the USSR and Russia . He is currently the head coach of the National Federation of Rosbol of Russia and the Superbol Academy.

Biography
Born February 9, 1954 in Moscow . He graduated from the Moscow Regional State Institute of Physical Culture with a specialty trainer-teacher (department of sports games) in 1989 . He played in the years 1975-1976 for the Moscow national rugby team, in 1975-1982 - the player of the Fili rugby club and Lokomotiv . Silver medalist of the USSR championship in rugby (1980).
He began his coaching career in 1983, becoming the coach of the Moscow team of Lokomotiv masters [4] and leading it until 2012. Under his leadership, the club won the USSR Rugby Championship in 1983, and in 1991, he entered the Professional League Rugby-13 and won the 12 times Russian title and 8 times the Russian Cup [5] .
In 1984, Klebanov was appointed head coach of the Moscow rugby team, and in 1988 he was appointed coach of the second USSR team. The coach of the USSR national team since 1990 [6] , in 1992–2012, he coached the Russian national rugby team [7] . The team played at the World Championships in 1995 (the so-called Developing Teams Tournament) and 2000 (the final part of the World Championship).
