Oropedio-Lacithion ( Greek: Δήμος Οροπεδίου Λασιθίου ) is a community in Greece , in the east of Crete . Included in the peripheral unit of Lasithion in the periphery of Crete . The population of the community is 2387 residents according to the 2011 census [2] . An area of 129.976 square kilometers [1] . The density of 18.36 people per square kilometer [2] . The administrative center is Dzermiadon . Ioanis Stefanakis ( Ιωάννης Στεφανάκης ) was elected as the Dimarch in the local elections of 2014.
