Biography
Vladimir Aleksandrovich Pilipenko was born on July 18, 1949 in the city of Mozyr, Gomel region, in a family of employees, by nationality - Belarusian. In 1966, he graduated from high school No. 4 in Mozyr with a silver medal and entered the first year of physics at the Faculty of Radiophysics and Electronics of Belorussian State University named after V.I. Lenin. In 1971 he graduated from this faculty and was sent to work at the Special Design Bureau of the Semiconductor Devices Factory named after F. E. Dzerzhinsky , where he went from engineer to deputy director of the State Center "Belmikroanaliz" scientific and technical center "Belmikrosistemy" NPO "Integral". In 1981, after completing extramural postgraduate studies, he defended his thesis on the specialty of solid - state electronics and integrated circuitry , including materials, technology and special equipment. In 1990 he defended his doctoral dissertation in the field of solid - state electronics and microelectronics [2] .
Since 1981, working part-time at the Belarusian State University as a teacher. In 1995, he received the title of professor in the Department of Semiconductor Physics, where he now works part-time as a professor . In 2000, he was elected a corresponding member of the NAS of Belarus [3] .
He is currently the chairman of the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus deputy. Chairman of the State Expert Council for Instrument Engineering, Radioelectronics and Optics of the State Committee for Science and Technology , member of the interdepartmental expert council for the priority area of fundamental and applied research “Competitive products of radio, micro-, nano-, microwave and power electronics, microsensorics , laser-optical equipment, development new types of devices, including for scientific purposes ”, a member of the Council for the Defense of Dissertations at the Belarusian State University, a member of the Academic Council of the Physics Department of BSU , a member of the board I am a Physical Society of Belarus, a member of the editorial board of the journal “BSUIR Reports”, a member of the International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE, New York , USA ), a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the American Biographical Institute ( USA ). [2]
Awards and Achievements
In 1997, for his active work in implementing the Belelectronika scientific and technical program and for organizing the work of the State Expert Council on Radio Electronics, Instrument Engineering and Computer Engineering, he was awarded the State Committee for Science and Technology Certificate of Honor, and in 2004 for active work in the preparation and certification of scientific and scientific-pedagogical highly qualified personnel - certificate of honor of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus. In 2000, with a team of employees of the Institute of Physics of NAS B with the scientific work “Development of equipment and methods for laser cleaning of metal works of art” [1], he won the competition in the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science of NAS B for the best work in the field of scientific and technological developments and practical use of research results in the national economy of the Republic of Belarus [3] .
In 2010, for his enthusiasm, high scientific reputation and recognized achievements in the field of science and technology, which enriched the treasury of human knowledge, he was awarded the Da Vinci diamond by the International Biographical Center (Cambridge, England) and included in the information guide “2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century”.
Scientific activity
He performed research in the field of controlled modification of the properties of semiconductors , thin films of metals and dielectrics. He discovered the effects that accelerate the processes of modifying the properties of various materials under the influence of light pulses and suggested the mechanisms of their occurrence: doubling the diffusion coefficient of impurities and the absence of the effect of displacing the base by the emitter during solid-phase recrystallization of ion-doped silicon layers; the formation of the equilibrium, thermostable structure of doped aluminum films and their contact with silicon; single-stage formation of titanium disilicide. He developed methods for calculating temperature conditions and determined the optimal conditions to minimize such stresses [2] .
He carried out modeling of the processes of formation of various thin-film systems using fast heat treatment: gettering, melting of low-melting glass, recrystallization of aluminum films, diffusion synthesis of silicides of various metals, etc. He developed the technology for creating integrated circuits based on fast heat treatments.
Publications
During my scientific career I have published 294 scientific papers, both in our country and abroad, including 7 monographs, 38 inventions and 2 patents of the Republic of Belarus. For inventive activities awarded the badge "Inventor of the USSR." Under my leadership, 6 employees of the Scientific and Technical Center “Belmicrosystems” and other organizations defended their dissertations. Monographs, textbooks, discoveries
