In 1928, the bridge was rebuilt to lay heating pipes, the work was led by engineer P. P. Stepnov [6] . In 1940, the bridge was closed to pedestrians. In 1949, according to the project of engineer P.V. Bazhenov, the bridge was completely rebuilt. Wooden girders were replaced by metal beams, the width of the bridge was increased to 6.2 m [7] . Overhaul of the bridge was led by engineer P. Blokhin. In 1997, the State Unitary Enterprise "Mostotrest" reorganized the wooden pedestrian part with the installation of metal facade sheets [6] .
Design
Three-span bridge. The span consists of metal beams with parallel belts. Tower-type supports, double-row along the facade and four-row in the transverse direction, on a pile base. To protect the supports from a pile of ships and ice, pile bushes are arranged on the upper and lower sides. The bridge is 53.6 m long and 6.2 m wide [7] .
Railings made of metal, simple pattern. At the ends of the bridge, stair descents are arranged. The bridge canvas is paved with boards. Facades of beams are closed with metal sheets.
