According to the agreement with the Discovery Channel , the broadcast of the games in Finland will be conducted by the Finnish television and radio company YLE [1] .
Preparations for the Olympics began in 2010, when the Olympic Committee of Finland established a special commission for the reform of the sport of great achievements in order to make Finland the most successful representative of the Nordic countries in competitions. The commission was invited to use the New Zealand model of training athletes, according to which enhanced training is concentrated only in several sports, and training takes place in a single training center, but the commission did not accept this proposal [2] . In addition, there is a general decrease in state funding for the preparation of athletes for the Olympics [3] .

Competition Results
Sailing
Sailing competitions, depending on the class, consisted of 10 or 12 races. In each race, athletes began the race with a common start. The winner of each swim was the crew, the first to cross the finish line. The number of points going to the overall standings corresponded to the place occupied by the team. According to the results of 10 heats, the top 10 crews got into the medal race, the results of which also went into the overall standings. In the medal race, points earned by the crew doubled. If a competitor was unable to complete the race, he was awarded the number of points equal to the number of participants plus one. In the final scoring, the worst result shown by the crew in one of the races was not taken into account. The team with the fewest points became the Olympic champion.
The first tickets to the Games in Tokyo were played at the 2018 World Championships in Aarhus, where Finnish athletes won two Olympic licenses out of ten possible [4] . Kaarle Tupper and Monica Mikkola earned Olympic licenses for the country.

Shooting
The qualification in shooting consisted of many competitions, as a result of which the winners, and in some cases winners, received Olympic quotas for their countries. At the same time, for the qualification for the Games, the shooter must fulfill the relevant qualification standard during the Olympic cycle.
The first Olympic shooting license for the Finnish national team was brought by Lari Pesonen , who became the best among the representatives of previously unqualified countries, at the World Cup in South Korean Changwon in the skit discipline [5] .
