Geography
The village is located 10 km south-west of the center of the village of Berezniki and 28 km south of the district center of Sobinka .
History
At the end of the 19th century, the Church of the Bogolyubsky Icon of the Mother of God was built in the village. According to the stories of local residents, a wooden refectory and a wooden bell tower (probably built earlier than a stone church) adjoined the temple [2] . There was a literacy school in the village, there were 48 students in 1896.
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Bereznikovsky volost of Sudogodsky district , since 1926 - as part of the Sobinsky volost of Vladimir district . In 1859 [3] there were 41 households in the village, in 1905 [4] 88 households, in 1926 [5] 97 households and an elementary school.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Bereznikovsky village council of the Sobinsky district , and since 2005 it has been part of the Bereznikovsky village settlement .
