Wilson has one friend, Tucker, whom he cured of leukemia five years ago. In gratitude, he invites Wilson to hunt, during which Tucker has paralysis of the arm. A CT scan of the brain showed no signs of micro-strokes, and cancer tests were negative. Suddenly, Wilson notes that Ashley, Tucker's girlfriend, has cold sores on her lips and suggested that with a kiss, he could get into the blood and cause pain in the patient's spine. This indicates lumbar myelitis . Dr. House has his own opinion about Tucker, he is sure that he has a relapse of leukemia, which is indicated by a low level of leukocytes and paralysis of the joints. House even made a $ 100 bet with James that Tucker had cancer, not something else.
Soon Tucker says he feels a tingling sensation in his leg. He also asks Wilson to call his daughter and ask her to come. Subsequently, the patient develops a severe cough and impaired lung function. Wilson decides to seek help from House's team for help. The thirteenth believes that the man is infected with aspergillus . There is no time for research, so Wilson does the operation. Surgeons do not find the fungus, however, they understand that the patient has a general lung injury, which indicates pneumocytosis .
House does the analysis and tells Wilson that Tucker has acute lymphoblastic leukemia . Cancer has not gone beyond the brain, so it can be treated. Wilson does a surgical bypass, and after a while the patient develops leg paralysis. Chemotherapy does not help, so Tucker has a very small chance of healing. Wilson decides to try the dangerous double chemotherapy treatment. Soon Takeru becomes better and his paralysis disappears. However, Wilson notices jaundice in him, indicating liver failure. Tucker asks Wilson to give him half of his liver. After hesitation, he agrees and Tucker is transplanted half of Wilson's liver.
