The Mivoki Trail 100K ( Eng. Miwok 100K Trail Race ) is a 100-kilometer ultra - marathon that takes place annually on the first Saturday of May in the south of Marin County , California .

Start and finish competitions are located in the city of . Virtually the entire route passes along dirt roads and paths, first south of the city, then back north. Participants overcome a total climb of 11,800 feet (3,600 meters). [one]
The start of the race is given at 5 am. The time limit for the passage of the distance is 15 hours and 30 minutes. [2]
The run was organized by Kelly Sheehan (since 2004 the director is Tia Boddington), and has been held annually since 1996. Then he was known as "What? Mivoki? Trail 100K". This name existed until 1999. In 2013, the distance was reduced to 60K due to the partial closure of roads due to forest fires in the area of Mount .
