Biography
Born on January 20, 1952 in Voronezh.
In 1978 - graduated from the Faculty of Soil Science of Moscow State University .
Head of the Laboratory of Microbiology of the Pacific Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry named after G.B. Elyakov FEB RAS .
In 2006, he was elected a corresponding member of the RAS.
Scientific activity
Specialist in the field of general and marine microbiology, microbial ecology and biotechnology.
He gives a lecture course for students of the Far Eastern State University “General Microbiology” and “General and Microbial Biotechnology”, as well as an introductory course of lectures on microbiology for students of Vladivostok State Medical University.
Under his leadership, 7 candidate and 3 doctoral dissertations were defended.
