$ uicideboy $ ( Russian Suisideboys ) is an American rap duo from New Orleans , founded by Aristos Petros and Scott Arsen, better known as Ruby Da Cherry and $ crim . Their style and music are characterized by melancholy and nihilism , the leading themes of creativity are hopelessness, drugs , suicides , depression and death [1] [2] .

Biography
Scott Arseno Jr. ($ crim) and Aristos Petros (Ruby Da Cherry) are cousins who joined forces in hip-hop in 2014 . Both come from the ghetto of New Orleans [1] , Louisiana.
Before the creation of the group, Aristos Petros tried his hand at a punk rock band , Scott Arseno earned DJ . The brothers agreed that if they did not succeed with art until the age of 30, they would both commit suicide. After the merger, they created the G * 59 Records label , and Scott focused on writing music for the tracks. By 2014 , 10 parts of mini-albums from the saga “KILL YOURSELF” will be released. With these releases, the group developed a distinctive sound and gained recognition.
In 2015, several mixtapes were released , including a collaboration with Pouya called "$ outh $ ide $ uicide" [3] [4] , which became their hallmark.
In 2017, they released the 10 remaining parts from the saga “KILL YOURSELF” [5] , produced several tracks from the new album Juicy J , recorded together with him and A $ AP Rocky the song Freaky, and also announced the release of the full debut album “I Don ' “Want To Die In New Orleans” on December 1 , but eventually postponed the release date indefinitely.
The album was later renamed “I Want To Die In New Orleans” and was released on September 7, 2018 .
On May 4, 2019, they announced the release of a mini-album together with Travis Barker. The record was called "LIVE FAST DIE WHENEVER" and was released on May 24, receiving positive reviews.
