History
The history of the Chistyakovskaya grove dates back to the 90s of the XIX century, when the first forest-park stands appeared on the northern outskirts of Ekaterinodar on the initiative of the Cossack Dolgov. Officially, Chistyakovskaya Grove was established only in 1900 by a decree of the City Duma, which referred to the allocation of 30 acres of land for a city grove. Chistyakovskaya Grove was named in honor of the initiator of this decree - the mayor Gavriil Stepanovich Chistyakov. Among the first trees planted in Chistyakovskaya grove were oaks - pedunculate and Gartvis, common ash, warty birch, common pine, western sycamore, species of maple. They were planted by Chistyakov himself with schoolchildren and seminarians. A large number of the first plantations suffered during the Civil War .
In 1923, the grove was renamed Pervomayskaya.
During the Great Patriotic War, there was an anti-tank ditch in the grove. It was there during the war that the fascists dumped the bodies of the executed and strangled residents of Krasnodar. On this place on May 9, 1975, on the 30th anniversary of the Victory Day, a memorial complex was opened, created in memory of the thousands of citizens killed during the occupation of the city by Nazi soldiers.
In 1952, the Krasnodar Territory Executive Committee allocated 12 hectares of land for agricultural management in the eastern part of Pervomaiskaya Grove (from Moskovskaya Street). In this territory, in just 2 years, the exhibition complex of the regional exhibition of achievements of the national economy (VDNH) was built, consisting of 27 pavilions for the agricultural achievements of Kuban agricultural producers and a colonnade - a monument to the worker and kolkhoznitse. Since 1981, the Krasnodar Exhibition of Economic Achievements has been under state protection as a monument to the neoclassicism of the 50s.
In 1962, Pervomayskaya Grove was reorganized into the city recreation park (Permaysky).
Reconstruction of the Chistyakovskaya Grove Park
In 2008, the GPKiO Pervomaisky returned the historical name: Park "Chistyakovskaya grove." And in the same year, in view of the extreme neglect, a large-scale reconstruction project began. The park is actually being created anew: the grove was stylized in the spirit of old Russian traditions, while using environmentally friendly materials, the lawn was laid out along the perimeter. On the territory of 8 hectares, the largest playground in Krasnodar was set up, attractions for children and adults were installed, including the only one in the city, the Rope Park, with three routes of varying difficulty: children, family and extreme.
Current State
In Chistyakovskaya grove, work is underway to increase the stand. Alley laid for planting new trees, such as Wedding, Theater. Schoolchildren take an active part in the expansion of landings.
In the grove systematically carried out activities to clean up the area and the treatment of trees and shrubs to combat pests. Numerous feathered inhabitants such as woodpeckers, owls, goldfinches, starlings and tits are fighting with the latter. Introduced squirrels acclimatized well on the territory of this forest-park zone. In recent years, zoologists have seen a rare bat - a giant evening party listed in the Red Book of Russia .
