Construction

The timing of the construction of the station is still unknown - on the map “The Prospective Scheme for the Development of Moscow Metro Lines”, which was compiled and published by the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper, the planned Golyanovo station is assigned to the Sokolnicheskaya line , but the overall reliability of the scheme is in question.

However, at the end of 2010, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed the General Plan for the development of the Moscow metro until 2025, which contains an indication of the extension of the Sokolnicheskaya line along the Shchelkovsky highway to Golyanovo [2] .

In December 2017, the municipal deputies of the Golyanovo district appealed to the Moscow City Hall with a request to build the metro station of the same name [3] .

In April 2018, the chairman of the Moscow Architecture Committee, Juliana Knyazhevskaya, announced that the Arbat-Pokrovskaya metro line could be extended to the Golyanovo district with an estimated construction period after 2025 [4] .

In January 2019, it became known that the construction of the station is scheduled to begin in 2022 [5] .

At the end of March 2019, it became known that the station was planned to be opened in 2023 [6]. They plan to prepare the relevant documentation within six months.
