“Keshla” ( Kishly , Keshly ; Azeri. Keşlə ) is an Azerbaijani professional football club from the Keshla urban-type settlement included in the Nizami district of Baku . Performs in the first division , twice the winner of the Premier League (2007 and 2010).

Club history
The Early Years (1997–2004)
The club appeared in 1997 under the name "Khazar University", since it was founded at the University of Khazar , the first private university in Azerbaijan, and performed in the amateur national championship, completing the first season in 11th place. In the following years, Inter finished seventh (2000-01 season) and third (2003-04 season).
As a result of the 2003–04 season, the club won the right to compete in the Intertoto Cup for the first time. In the first round, “Khazar University” won the Austrian club “ Bregenz ” with a score of 3-0 in the first match and 2-1 in the second [2] . In the second round, the team met with Tampere . After losing the first match 0-3, the players defeated Baku 1-0 and flew out of the tournament [3] .
Since October 28, 2017 he has been performing under the name "Keshly".
Double and the Epoch of Tskhadadze (2004 - present)
In the summer of 2004, all rights to Khazar University were transferred to the newly created PFC Inter Baku, and the team participated in the 13th Azerbaijan Championship. Later there were changes in the leadership of the club, it was renamed to PFC Inter and finished the 2004-05 season in seventh place. Progress continued by the fact that next season the club became the fourth.
A year later, the team was again fourth, and in the 2007–08 season, became the champion of the country, for the first time winning the right to participate in the Champions League , where they made it to the second qualifying round, defeating the Rabotnichka club from Macedonia in goals scored in a foreign field.
The following season, Inter defended the title, winning it for the second time in history. The European Cup campaign was less successful and ended in defeat on Lech on a foul shot. In 2011, the club from Baku won the Commonwealth Cup by beating Shakhtar from Soligorsk in the final [4] .
In 2012, Inter set a record for Azerbaijan, winning the biggest win in European competition in the history of the country: Narva-Trans was defeated with a score of 5-0 in Estonia [5] . At the beginning of the 2013–14 season, the club suffered four defeats in a row, showing the worst start of all time [6] . Nevertheless, “Inter” finished second in the championship [7] .
Stadium
The club holds home matches at the Inter-Arena stadium in Baku. Since 2008, the stadium has been under reconstruction, surrounded by training fields, administrative buildings and a new four-star hotel.
