Nikolai Martynovich Vergeles ( October 20, 1864 -?) - Colonel of the Russian Imperial Army ; the participant of the First World War , the gentleman of five orders (including the Order of St. George of the 4th degree). After the revolution, he served in the army of the Ukrainian People's Republic .

Biography
Born October 21, 1864. By religion - Orthodox . He graduated from the Kharkov gymnasium [1] .
In the Russian Imperial Army from March 21, 1882, he graduated from the Elisavetgrad cavalry cadet school . He served in the Kazan 25th Dragoon Regiment . September 1, 1886 received seniority rank cornet . September 1, 1890 received seniority with the rank of lieutenant . March 15, 1896 received seniority in the rank of captain-in-chief . He graduated from the officer's cavalry school , with a rating of "successful." For 8 years and 8 months he was a squadron commander. May 6, 1900 received seniority in the rank of captain . February 26, 1912 received seniority with the rank of lieutenant colonel [1] .
Participated in the First World War . June 12, 1916 received seniority in the rank of colonel , with seniority since January 3, 1916. He was wounded on May 27, 1916 during an attack by a regiment near the village of Zubzhets ( Galicia ). As of August 1, 1916, he was in the same rank and in the same regiment. From August 28, 1917 he was the commander of the Kazan 9th Dragoon Regiment [1] .
From the end of 1918 until the end of 1919, he was commander of the Lubensky equestrian regiment of the UNR active army . The fate is unknown [2] .
