Biography
He began his career as a packer at the Rechitsa match factory. He worked at the Hammer and Sickle factory and began to print in the large-circulation factory newspaper Martenovka.
In the direction of the Komsomol Central Committee since February 1943 - in the " Komsomolskaya Pravda ". As part of the visiting editorial offices, he traveled to large Soviet construction sites [1] . He was awarded state awards.
In 1959, together with A. Adzhubey, he came to the Izvestia newspaper and held the position of First Deputy Executive Secretary. He worked in the newspaper until 1987, one of the most influential employees of the newspaper.
Kitaev attributed the authorship of the phrase: "You are on the right path, comrades!" [2] [3]
