My Circle is a career service for IT professionals. It provides recruitment and job search services, develops salary services (collecting statistics on the salaries of IT specialists in Russia) and company ratings service (ratings of IT companies from current and former employees). Initially, "My Circle" belonged to Yandex, and from June 8, 2015, the Habr company became the new owner of the project.

History
The official date for the creation of the My Circle network is November 18, 2005 . On this day, the first user who was not part of the development team was registered. The project was created by a group of graduates of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow State University and NES [3] . Further, the project quickly developed, gradually gaining functionality, until March 27, 2007 was purchased by Yandex [4] . On June 8, 2015, the sale of a project by Thematic Media (TM) was announced [1] [5] .
At the beginning of 2009, the service exported vacancies from the largest thematic sites: hh.ru and rabota.mail.ru. By mid-2009, not only employees, but also organizations received a place on the site.
Since 2010, it became possible to edit levels of access to company information and manage the feed of events. In addition to the place of work and study, the user can currently indicate his presence in the largest social networks, leave a recommendation on a book, blog, service or a specific person. In 2011, My Circle completed the integration process with social platforms - it became possible to search for friends through Facebook , Twitter , LiveJournal and LinkedIn .
After the acquisition by TM, the original website idea (circles) ceased to exist. In fact, the new “My Circle” is a rebranding of the last TM service - Brainstorage, which ceased to exist when the beta test of the new My Circle design was completed. [five]
In Russia, in accordance with the " Law on Bloggers ", the network is recognized as the organizer of the dissemination of information and is entered on the 08/08/2015 register under the number 38-PP [6] .
In November 2017, “My Circle” launched a directory that allows you to find out earnings in a particular IT field [7] .
In July 2018, company ratings appeared on My Circle [8] .
In May 2019, the service added the ability to supplement the specialist’s resume with information about the courses taken [9] .
