Location
A dead end is located in the Southeastern administrative district of Moscow in the Lefortovo region near the areas of Sokolinaya Gora , Nizhny Novgorod , Tagansky and Basmanny . Kryukovskaya street is 500 meters from the dead end. The dead end is 309 meters long. It starts from Aviamotornaya Street and ends in the yards. The 2nd Sinichkina street [3] adjoins the impasse.
History
The first settlements on this territory appeared between modern Longinovskaya street and Mininsky lane. In the XVIII century , the Sinichka River ran in this area and the village of Kryukovka was located, with which the names of the streets are associated. On the left side of the river were houses of different construction: brick and wooden. To the east of Kryukovka, near the Annenhof grove, there was an arsenal and powder cellars of the Artillery Laboratory. After laying the line of the Ryazan railway, the powder cellars were cut off from the grove and the Lefortovo region [4] .
Also on this territory was the small village of Aleksandrovskoye. Its northeastern part bordered on the Longinova dacha (married to Princess Kozlovskaya), the daughter of the famous writer and censor Mikhail Longinov [5] .
In the 19th century, Kryukovka Street, which runs from Hospital Val Street to Longinovskaya Street, was named after the village of Kryukovka located in this area [6] .
In 1950-1960, from the house number 20 along the old Kryukovka street (the "Commission" house) there was a lane to the current Institute for Integrated Subsoil Development Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences and TsAMU named after Baranov and the military industrial complex , to the left of which there were barracks , to the right - residential buildings. The houses of that time did not reach our time, but trees were preserved near the house number 18 [1] .
In 1935, the alley got its modern name - Kryukovsky dead end [7] [8] .
