Title

Lyceum bears the name of Yuri Vasilievich Konratyuk , a Soviet scientist, one of the founders of astronautics .

History

In 1988, a specialized educational institution was opened, which in 1990, by decision of the board of education management of the Novosibirsk Regional Executive Committee, received the status of a lyceum.

Education System

Students of the lyceum, in addition to general education, also acquire pre-vocational aerospace education. Basic training in the field of aviation and space allows students to choose their future profession.

The curriculum consists of 17 aerospace subjects (6 by choice). All disciplines are developed by teachers of the Lyceum.

Training is conducted in one shift, from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, the lyceum holds preparatory classes for those who want to enroll.

Teaching work

The teachers of the Lyceum published 76 publications, 3 of which were textbooks.

Competition

Pupils of the aerospace lyceum were prize-winners and champions of Russian aeromodelling schoolchildren competitions, laureates, diploma winners and prize-winners of the “Step into the Future”, “Cosmos”, “Youth, Science, Culture” competitions, “Siberia” Intellectual Potential ”.

Collaboration

The Lyceum cooperates with such institutions as the Moscow State Technical University named after N. E. Bauman , SSUTI, the Siberian State Academy of Architecture and Art , the SibNIA named after S. Chaplygin , the NSTU (aircraft faculty), the Yu.V. Kondratyuk Novosibirsk Memorial Scientific Center [1 ] [approx. 1] .
