Geographical position
The village of Sredny Katarach of the municipality of the Talitsky urban district of the Sverdlovsk Region is located 48 kilometers (61 km along the highway) south-east of the city of Talitsa , on the banks of the Katarach river (the right tributary of the Butka Ruchey river, the Pyshma river basin . In the vicinity of the village are located old lake [2] .
