Moon Hooch is an American band from Brooklyn , New York that performs dance music on drums and saxophone . The group is a trio consisting of James Muschler (dr . James Muschler ) (drums), Mike Wilbur ( eng. Mike Wilbur ) and Wenzel McGowan ( eng. Wenzl McGowen ) (saxophone). The members of the group met while studying at the New School of Jazz and Modern Music (School of Jazz at The New School), and began to play in the subways of New York [1] [2] [3] .

In 2011, the band appeared on the Australian TV series Hamish and Andy's Gap Year , where they were called Busketeers.
Their self-titled debut album was released in 2013 and reached number nine on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart [4] . This Is Cave Music's second album was released on September 16, 2014 [5] .
