Biography
In 1959 he graduated from GITIS with a degree in theater and film actor. He was admitted to the Mayakovsky Theater . A year later, was adopted by the announcer on the All-Union Radio .
He was the secretary of the party organization of the announcer department. In the 70s he was engaged in informational and narrative accompaniment of L. I. Brezhnev's trips, and acted as a reader and journalist .
For coverage of the Olympics in 1980 he was awarded the medal "For Labor Distinction" [1] . After the death of Levitan, it was Ternovsky who read the most important government reports: about the death of Andropov , about the death of Chernenko , the rise to power of Gorbachev , and also about the beginning of the August coup . From 1997 to 2004, he worked at Orpheus Radio.
He was awarded the medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", II degree [2] . In the All-Russian society of the blind, he carried out the scoring of books. In 2001, he recorded many works of Leo Tolstoy.
He was buried in a rural cemetery in Malakhovka, Moscow Region, his small homeland.
