Geographical position
The village of Elan of the Talitsky Urban District Municipality of the Sverdlovsk Region is located at a distance of 25 kilometers (30 kilometers by road) southeast of the city of Talitsa , on both banks of the Ramyl River (left tributary of the Belyakovka River, Pyshma River basin ) [2] .
Ascension Church of the
In 1834, a wooden, monastic church of the same faith was laid, which was consecrated in honor of the Ascension of the Lord on January 3, 1836. The church was closed in 1931 [2] .
