In 1914 he graduated from the 4th grade of the Tver Theological Seminary, and later in 1916 he studied at the Moscow Commercial Institute. He was arrested on June 23, 1937; on February 8, 1938, he was sentenced to death "for participation in a counter-revolutionary terrorist organization" by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR, then executed. February 18, 1956 posthumously rehabilitated.
