Ilya Dmitrievich Zelentsov (? Village of Koksu in the Kugalinsky district of Kazakhstan -?) - a figure in Soviet justice. Member of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR from Koksu district. Prosecutor of the Kustanai region for special affairs. He was a member of the special trio of the NKVD of the USSR , an extra-judicial and, therefore, non-judicial criminal prosecution body [1] .

Biography
Ilya Dmitrievich Zelentsov was born in the village of Koksu in the Kugalinsky district of Kazakhstan into a family of a fist who owned a water mill. During the Civil War, he evaded conscription in the Red Army . In 1919, he was elected secretary of the Socialist Revolutionary "Union of Growers" later dissolved by the Soviet government. Then he studied in the first year of the Correspondence Institute of Soviet Law , which allowed in 1931 to switch to prosecutorial work. In 1937-1939 he worked as a prosecutor of the Kustanai region of Kazakhstan for special cases. This period was marked by the inclusion of a special troika created by order of the NKVD of the USSR dated 30.07.1937 No. 00447 [2] and active participation in the Stalinist repressions [3] .
The final stage
By a decision of the Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan of July 27, 1939, the prosecutor was dismissed. The basis was the materials of the personnel sector of the Central Committee, namely, he hid his social background, could not cope with work, drank 2 days with the local leadership in the village of Koksu during the elections to the Supreme Council. The further fate is unknown.
