People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the 4th convocation from April 2002 to April 2006 from SPU, No. 12 on the list. At the time of the election: pensioner, member of SPU. Authorized representative of the SPU faction (since May 2002). Member of the Committee on Environmental Policy, Environmental Management and the Elimination of the Consequences of the Chernobyl Disaster (since June 2002).

Member of the Socialist Party of Ukraine (since November 1991 ). He was the first secretary of the Kiev regional committee of the SPU, a member of the political executive committee of the Political Council of the SPU (since May 2000 ).

A participant in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident.
