Biography
She graduated from the Faculty of Geography of the Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov .
In 1998 she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Geographical Sciences in the form of a scientific report on the topic "Anthropogenic transformation of European landscapes (outside the CIS)" [1] .
Professor and Head of the Department of Physical Geography of the World and Geoecology (formerly Department of Physical Geography of Foreign Countries), Faculty of Geography, Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov .
Author of lecture courses on the physical geography of the world and Europe, global environmental problems, regional geecology of Europe
Full member of the Russian Ecological Academy.
Author of more than 160 scientific papers.
Scientific interests: physical geography of the world, global and regional geo-ecological problems.
