Vsauce is a YouTube channel brand created by Internet personality Michael Stevens [1] . Channels contain video materials belonging to different scientific and philosophical branches, as well as games, technology, culture and other topics of wide interest.
History
June 24, 2010 Michael Stevens launched the main channel Vsauce [2] . At first, the program of the channel was focused on video games and was conducted by various presenters [3] . Over time, Michael became the only leading, and the channel focused on information and Internet activities. Educational segments have become more popular and the only ones presented on the channel since September 9, 2012. According to episode No. 18 “LÜT” on the main Vsauce channel, the name “Vsauce” was created using the Fake Name Generator site.
In December 2010, the Vsauce2 (December 7) and Vsauce3 (December 24) [4] [5] channels were opened. July 25, 2012 channel WeSauce was opened [6] .
Vsauce was one of the fastest growing channels in September 2012. In March 2018, the main channel Vsauce reached 13 million subscribers [3] [7] .
On November 25, 2015, a sarcoma was detected in the Vsauce3 master channel, which it still treats.
