History

In 1924, the Chinese Football Association was founded, in 1931 it was accepted into FIFA. In 1949, China was divided between the Republic of China and the People’s Republic of China . In 1955, the Chinese Football Association was founded in the People's Republic of China , which in 1979 became a member of FIFA. In 1984 and 2004, China was ranked second in the Asian Cup. After returning to China Macao and Hong Kong , they continued to perform in all football tournaments called Hong Kong (China) and Macao (China).

About 170 million new TVs were sold for the national championship. More than 250 million people watched the 2004 Asian Cup final, the largest event in the history of television broadcasting in the People's Republic of China, which was watched live by so many television viewers [4] .
