Biography

Alexander Nikolaevich Melnikov was born on May 9, 1957 in the village of Shishadeevo of the Vasilevsky Village Council of the Pochinkovsky District of the Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod) Region .

Alexander Nikolaevich began to engage in sports in 1970 . First basketball , then classic wrestling . In 1972 he moved to the sambo section.

During his studies at a secondary school, he repeatedly became the winner and prize winner of the championships of the city of Kurgan , the region, All-Russian and All-Union competitions among young men and adults. After graduating from school in 1975, he had the sports title “Candidate for Master of Sports of the USSR”.

In August 1974, he began his career as an apprentice fitter at the Kurgan Engineering Plant .

In November 1975 he was called up for military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR . He served in the Airborne Forces in the Baltic Military District . During the service, repeatedly advocated for his unit, division, district. Champion of the Airborne Forces of the USSR in sambo wrestling .

Demobilized, he returned to his homeland and entered the Kurgan State Pedagogical Institute to study at the Faculty of Physical Education. He continued to train and perform in competitions. Repeated winner and medalist of the Russian and Central Councils of Dynamo Society. The highest achievement in the championships of the RSFSR - 4 place.

In 1982, after graduating from the institute, he joined the Kurgan Children and Youth Sports School No. 2 as a trainer and teacher, in 1985 he was transferred to the city ShVSM , where he worked until 2000. During this time, he trained 6 masters of sports of international class and more than 30 masters of sports.

In 2000, he received an invitation to work in the sports club "Uralelectromed" in the city of Verkhnyaya Pyshma .
