Biography

Nikolai Ivanovich Chegodaev was born in the Novosibirsk region in 1962. He took part in competitions of various scales, fulfilled the standard of the Master of Sports of the USSR. For many years he worked as a coach in sports institutions of Novouralsk and Nizhny Tagil . In 2003, he received the honorary title of Honored Coach of Russia , in 2006 he was awarded a personal scholarship from the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region [1] , and in 2013 he was awarded an honorary diploma from the Head of Yekaterinburg for achievements in the sports field. He was a member of the jury at the Russian Championship in 2002 [2] . Also for some time he held the post of senior coach of the biathlon team of the Sverdlovsk region [3] [4] . Now she works as a biathlon trainer and teacher at the Jupiter Children's and Youth Sports School in Nizhny Tagil [5] [6] .

Over the years, the trainer Nikolai Ivanovich prepared a number of outstanding athletes: MSMK S. G. Bashkirov [7] , multiple world and European champion E. G. Davgul [8] , world, European and Russian champion A. O. Kovyazin , winner of the Cup Europe I.N. Mileshina . Now Chagodaev is working with a new group of junior athletes [6] .
