Gudenieki ( Latvian: Gudenieki ) is a settlement in the Kuldiga region of Latvia . The administrative center of Gudeniek parish . Located on the river Uzhava . Kuldiga is about 30 km away [1] . According to data for 2017, 141 people lived in the village [2] . There is a volost administration, a culture center, a library, a post office, a grocery store, and the Catholic Church.

History
In Soviet times, the village was the center of the Gudeniyek village council of the Kuldigsky district . The central estate of the collective farm "Lenin Tselsh" [1] was located in the village .
